Announcing: 2020 Big Other Book Awards Ceremony!

 

Join us April 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. for the 2020 Big Other Book Awards Ceremony!

In recognition of excellence in literature published in 2020, we’ll announce a winner in each of the following categories: fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and translation. The awards aim to recognize excellence in literature and to promote and support the work of innovative writers and adventurous presses. A Readers’ Choice Award and honors for lifetime achievement and outstanding service to the literary community will also be presented. Big Other contributors Will Alexander, Debra Di Blasi, Robert Lopez, and others will read from their work.

Recipient of an M.F.A. in Literary Arts from Brown University, New York State Council on the Arts awardee John Madera lives in New York City, Rhizomatic and manages and edits Big Other.
