I wouldn’t trust Robert Barry, He was a notorious liar.
Originally, I had a note in this post essentially asking the reader not to take it for granted that there were a million dots in the image, and then I noticed that the image caption for the image claimed that it, the image, was a merely a “detail,” which, of course, isn’t necessarily true either, and so, I ended up removing the disclaimer.
In any case, the post was meant to celebrate Big Other, its contributors and its readers, not fall into a veracity-of-the-image wormhole. So, thank you, Adam for your posts and comments!
It probably is 1,000,000 dots. I was just being snarky earlier. Robert Barry is a stand-up guy. Even if he does tend to be overfond of inert gases.
