Sometimes I get confused about irony. Today we learn that loneliness is contagious. Does that count?
Wow. Clearly, lonely people should be ostracized so they don’t spread their disease.
I like how irony can be sad, funny, and terrifying all at once without sacrificing anything… except maybe a baby goat
Yeh but if you are lonely how can you be near people to spread the disease since if you are near people you might now be….I wish I could draw a giant circle.
Right, right. I get that. But I also think it makes lots of sense that people who identify as lonely are often in the physical company of others, but feel somehow apart or alone.
Sad face moment: I usually feel the most alone when I’m in a big group of people.
I don’t get how my being lonely in a group would make other people lonely, but maybe they can see I’m wallowing and so they start to wallow.
Mostly, I don’t feel lonely, though. And, no, I don’t want to get a beer sometime.
Can we get a beer sometime?
