An Evening of Readings from Big Other’s Puerto Rican Writers Folio: A Hauntology at the People’s Forum

The evening of readings from Big Other’s Puerto Rican Writers Folio: A Hauntology at the People’s Forum on August 30, 2022 was a wonder!

Check out the video-recording of the event, where you’ll discover/rediscover that mystery, diversity, incommensurability of being and becoming peculiar to the Puerto Rican! Alternately oracular, visceral, comedic, puzzling, and incantatory, and always inspiring, the evening was truly marvelous, to say the least, a reifying of “the next new,” to borrow a phrase from one of Jennifer Maritza McCauley‘s poems in the folio. ¡Wepa!

Thanks and kudos to all the readers who read Friday night:
Carmen Bardeguez-Brown
Michele Carlo
Joey De Jesus
Lyn Di Iorio
James W. Fuerst
Jennifer Maritza McCauley
Ernesto Quiñonez
Dimitri Reyes
Charles Rice-Gonzalez
Peggy Robles-Alvarado

Thanks, again, to the People’s Forum! And thanks to everyone who came to the reading!
