Jamming Their Transmission, Episode 7: Robert Lopez

This episode features writer Robert Lopez reading from and discussing A Better Class of People, a provocative satirical novel currently under consideration with agents, editors, and publishers.

Robert Lopez is the author of three novels, Part of the WorldKamby Bolongo Mean River, and All Back Full, and two story collections, Asunder and Good PeopleHis writing has also appeared in dozens of publications, including BombThe Mississippi ReviewNew England Review, and the Norton Anthology of Sudden FictionLatino. He teaches at The New School, Pratt Institute, and Columbia University, and the Solstice Low-Residency MFA Program at Pine Manor College. He was a fellow in fiction for the New York Foundation for the Arts in 2010 and Visiting Writer at Syracuse University for fall, 2018. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Recipient of an M.F.A. in Literary Arts from Brown University, New York State Council on the Arts awardee John Madera lives in New York City, Rhizomatic and manages and edits Big Other.
