Inspired by Blake’s post at HTMLGIANT, I’d like to encourage you to write a short story–it could be, you know, very short–and send it to me. I will put my name on it and submit it as my own. If it’s published, I will send in a bio calling the work “collaborative.”
so, you’re saying you’re willing to scuttle your reputation if we send you really bad work?
score. off to find publish america poetry as inspiration.
I have a reputation?
i already submit all my stories using your name, shya
short short coming your way soon, shya…
Nice! Maybe I’ll submit it to Hobart.
yeah. submit it to the website. that’d be rad. shit… now i kinda want to try to write something that could be accepted for the hobart website. i’m not sure that i could. arg!
This would be a good post, kind of, for all the writer/editors out there: is your own work good enough to be accepted by the journal you edit? Meh. Probably not a great post.
Also, yeah, that would be kind of embarrassing if your story was rejected. But now it seems manipulative, since we’re talking about it. Jensen and Andrea probably don’t need the headache. Or do they?
I was wondering what to do with my horribly offensive libelous stories… Thanks, Shya!
