New Contributor at Big Other

If you’ve been tapped into the online indie literary community Shya Scanlon should be no stranger. Most recently, the serialization of his slipstream novel Forecast was featured in 42 different Web sites, including small presses, literary journals and blogs. One of the participants, Flatmancrooked, will be publishing Forecast in the spring of 2010. Shya Scanlon’s poetry collection, In This Alone Impulse, was published by Noemi Press in 2009. Shya received his MFA from Brown University, where he was awarded the John Hawkes Prize in Fiction. Please visit him HERE.
