You might call Democracy Now! a peoples’ history of the United States and the world, as it provides its “audience with access to people and perspectives rarely heard in the U.S.corporate-sponsored media, including independent and international journalists, ordinary people from around the world who are directly affected by U.S. foreign policy, grassroots leaders and peace activists, artists, academics and independent analysts.”
I’ve listened to this program for many years now, and I’m always impressed by its coverage and its fairness and accuracy, not to mention its progressive slant. So, thanks, Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzalez, and everyone at Democracy Now!
