Big Other Contributors’ News, #13

John Dermot Woods has a comic “My Brother’s Shoe” in Pear Noir! Issue 3.

Davis Schneiderman‘s story, “Backatcha,” written with Kelly Haramis, appeared in Artifice, issue #1.

Shya Scanlon is a Featured Poetry Author this week (ending on Sunday) at The Nervous Breakdown. His self-interview appears there, too. And Kim Chinquee wrote his life story on a postcard for Michael Kimball’s project. Shya is looking for more writers interested in participating in his book release reading for In This Alone Impulse, which would involve choosing a poem from the collection to read, and would result in getting a free copy of the book.  The reading will be at KGB Bar (NYC) on Wednesday the 24th of March at 7PM.  Interested folks should contact him personally (info on his website).

Check out the “On Ritual: The Requested Author Series,” edited by Stacy Muszynski.

Edward Mullany has two poems in the current issue of 20×20 magazine.

A D Jameson has a short story, “There Is a Bad Drug,” in the current issue of the journal Fiction at Work.

Ryan Bradley has an essay, “A Christmas Fax from Dad’s Lawyer,” in Holiday in Cambodia, a charity zine from Annalemma.

Mel Bosworth‘s handwritten story, “Tough Love,” is at Anastomoo.

A D Jameson has a short story, “There Is a Bad Drug,” in the current issue of the journal Fiction at Work. Which encourages you to read it at work (there’s even a panic button that calls up a spreadsheet in case your boss walks in).
