Jamming Their Transmission, Episode 22: A Night of Readings Celebrating Big Other

Today’s episode features a recording of A Night of Readings Celebrating Big Other, emceed by Big Other’s editor, John Madera, at New York Insight Meditation Center in celebration of the journal’s seventeen years. Eight remarkable writers—Martine Bellen, Elaine Equi, Heller Levinson, Dawn Raffel, John Reed, John Schertzer, Terese Svoboda, and Micah Zevin—read work published in Big Other, celebrating the journal’s commitment to adventurous, formally inventive, and categorically unruly literature, and the community of writers and readers it has fostered since its founding in 2009.
