A new year’s dilemma (involving glitter (and parentheses)).

I felt bad about throwing away all these Christmas cards, so I separated the images from the messages (the fronts from the backs), but now I’m stuck. What should I do next? I have about fifty holiday-inspired images (the majority of which include glitter. I love glitter! Don’t judge me; admit it: you love glitter, too. (Yes you do!) (I also love parentheses.)).

But, yeah, so, seriously: what should I do with all these images? I can’t (get it?) bear to throw them away . . .

  1. You could make a big collage on poster board for next year and hang it up as decoration…

or you could paste them onto mat board and cut them up to make a great big puzzle for the next holidays…

or you could give them to a school art department for the kids to use…

or you could make new cards out of them to give next year…

I know one person that makes them into mulch for the garden.

  2. Now, see, THOSE are ideas! Well done, Clara. My favorite is the donating to a school art department. Will look into it.

  3. My wife saves the front of old Christmas cards and makes them into present tags for the next year. Or cuts out pieces and glues them together into unique cards.
