A Summary:
In “The Falling Girl” by Dino Buzzati a young girl commits suicide from the top of posh skyscraper full of apartments and offices. Time is suspended as she falls. As she falls, people examine, comment, and question her from windows. By the time she reaches the ground she has extraordinarily aged and is now an old woman.

First two links aren’t working for me… Is the story collected in something/somewhere? I just read Buzzati’s Poem Strip earlier in the week & was very pleased with it.

Anyway, you can find the story collected (I think) in Restless Nights: Selected Stories of Dino Buzzati and anthologized in Sudden Fiction International, edited by by Robert Shapard, James Thomas.
I haven’t found it online yet, although I may put up a bootleg.
