On Tuesday November 30th Anthony Tognazzini and myself will read at Unnameable Books in Prospect Heights at 7:30.
Anthony Tognazzini’s work has appeared in Denver Quarterly, Sentence, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Quarterly West, the Hat, and the Alaska Quarterly Review, among other journals. His collection, I Carry A Hammer in My Pocket for Occasions Such As These, is available from BOA Editions. He lives in Brooklyn.

On Friday, December 3, at 7 p.m., the literary journal Conjunctions will celebrate the release of its Fall 2010 issue with a special reading at BookCourt, 163 Court Street. Paul La Farge (The Artist of the Missing, Haussmann, or the Distinction, The Facts of Winter), John Madera, Stephen O’Connor (Rescue, Here Comes Another Lesson), and Karen Russell (St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves, Swamplandia!) will read from their stories in Conjunctions:55, Urban Arias. There is a release event for Robert Lopez’s Asunder at Barbes in Park Slope, on Saturday, December 4th at 5 p.m, hosted by Nelly Reifler. There will be guest readers and some guest stars playing music.
